She balanced working as a Park Ranger/Park Medic in National Parks “Out West,” while working winters “Back East” in specialty critical care. She graduated from the University of California, San Francisco with MSN and NP degrees and with an additional specialty in Integrated Complementary Healing. While at UCSF, she was also a Fellow in Pulmonary Medicine. She has been a research assistant in several double-blind, clinical studies evaluating the efficacy of alternative mind-body approaches in healthcare. Elaine has always believed that the human body has an amazing ability to heal itself if given the right kind of support. She uses western and alternative approaches to evaluate and get to the root of symptoms and then develops a plan to start the healing process. She regularly uses Homeopathy, Eastern Medicine, Western/Allopathic Medicine, CranioSacral Therapy, Biofeedback, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Elaine is gifted in her ability to work with infants and children, but she loves to work with people of all ages and is especially fond of working with families.
